 Counselling on smoking cessation is provided by Registered Nurses through the Smoking Cessation Hotline of the Department of Health. Besides, a computerised call handling system is set up to provide information on smoking cessation and medication in Cantonese, Putonghua and English round the clock. Users may assess their nicotine dependence via the system and obtain the test result as well as other information by fax.
Users may obtain smoking cessation services from the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals by pressing "2", the Hospital Authority by pressing "3", Pok Oi Smoking Cessation Service using Traditional Chinese Medicine by pressing "4" or Youth Quitline of the University of Hong Kong by pressing "5".
